In the event of an emergency, these short clutch & brake levers reduce the reflex response to grab a “handful of brakes”.
Such a reflex action could result in the front wheel locking up and either the wheel sliding from under the rider or the rider going over the handlebars.
By simply adjusting a set screw on the lever, the rake (distance from the handle bar to the lever) can be adjusted to accommodate the smallest to the largest of hands.
These Desert Fox levers also have a unique adjustable length which ensures improved control in technical conditions, where feathering of levers is required.
Specially designed rounded ends ensure your fingers will never be trapped in the lever in the event of a fall .
Standard manufacturers levers are either too long or are not adjustable in length or rake.
